I walked the last of my Camino to my home, sort of a symbolic salute to the original Pilgrims who, after they walked to Santiago, many of them turned around and had to walk home.
Just before I left, I’d visited Ben Milam Elementary where I volunteer as often as I can. I had the entire 4th Grade listen to me talk about the Camino on May 13th, they also dismantled my pack which was good, because as I was putting it back together, I found things I just didn’t need. That’s all ancient history now.
I wanted the kids to know that I hadn’t forgotten them so I created a video as I walked home.
